Hi everyone sorry I haven't posted in a while I have been very busy anyway we have done projects in class and I did mine on the haast eagle this  bird is the biggest bird in the whole world and I also make a modle of one but it wasn't life size oveously but it was pretty cool also I want to wish all the adults and children great holidays and I hope you all have heaps of fun

Netball finals

Hi everyone so yesterday we had our netball final as you all know but unfortunately we lost 9-19 but we had a good go we still got second in our grad I was sick so I only got to play one third but its all good

Hi everyone tomorrow I have the finals in netball we are playing for 1st place and we are playing valley I am really excited. Valley is a really good team but I think we can win our grad wish us luck I will let you all know the results tomorrow  

Omarama

Hi everyone today we are going to omarama and we are going to go to the hot pools I am really excited. In Omarama we have a crib and it is a little three bedroom kind of flat that my great grandfather and my papa built. It also has a sleep out and a compost toilet so we put All our wasted food down there. We also go four wheel driving in the paddock and that is my favourite part. Omarama is a great place to go for a holiday and it has a top ten holiday part so you can stay there too. You can also go boating in Otematata witch isn't far away from Omarama. 

A couple of days ago I got a tie-dye kit and I tie-dyed a t-shirt and I got five pairs of socks and tie-dyed them as well.They look really cool I can't wait to do more it is so much fun and is a great hobbie for the weekend of you haven't yet you should try it 

Hi everyone. We'll yesterday my class and another class in our school went to the otago museum. My favourite part of the day was the butterfly's it was really cool. I had two butterflies that stayed on me the whole time and when it was time to go they wouldn't come off . The only problem with the butterfly's is that it is soooooo hot in there but other than that I had a great time. If you have never been to the otago museum you need to go it is soooooo awesome.

Diary of  a Wimpy Kid Hard Luck is a fiction book written by a very talented Jeff Kinney.

In this book the main character Gregory Hefley, always has a problem, weather his best friend has a girlfriend and forgets about him or he doesn't do his homework because he thinks it's more important to relax and play video games and then gets himself into trouble with his teacher. He feels like he can't make friends and he's down on his luck. Until he finds a magic 8 ball and thinks it will make all his decisions for him that his luck will change. But does it?...

I think the message the Author is trying to get across is that  Gregory needs to stand on his own two feet as he oftern takes his friends especially Rowley for granted and uses him to carry his books and walk in front of him in case there is dog pooh on the footpath or dogs not on their chains.

I think the Author is trying to teach Gregory to treat people better and to have respect for others otherwise he could end up a very lonely boy.

I think what the Author is communicating is a valuable lesson to everyone not to take people for granted but to treat them with respect.

I really enjoyed this book as I have the rest of the series. I would highly recommend this book to others to read as it is humourous and entertaining with a good under lying lesson.

Hi guys so I turned 12 these holidays to I got a really cool watch and I have planned a party for sometime so that will be fun.

Hi everyone so holidays have been sort of fun I went down to Dunedin and I got my braces and I thought they would be really sore but when I got them on they didn't hurt at all, well I think I spoke to soon later in the night I couldn't eat I was starving so I hope you all have good teeth.

I do speech and drama and about two mounths ago I had speech and drama competitions.It was so scary waiting to do your thing and watching everyone else perform. But in the end I ended up doing really well I got first in my drama that I did with my friend Nina, we did the part of Veruca Salt and Mr Salt from Charlie and the chocolate factory By Roald Dahl. I was Mr Salt. I got second in my New Zealand poem it was called my other Jandal By Don Franks. I got second in my site reading which was the scariest of them all. And I got third in my test poem I'd never fall in love with a girl. I love speech and drama it is so fun i will definately do those comps next year and i got a placing in everything so I was really happy.

At school at the moment we are doing our 2 yearly production and this year every class in the middle and senior school have to come up with a performance to share with everyone. There are also some acting parts and I managed to land the part of God which I am quite happy about because I get to be behind curtain with a microphone and I have a completely different voice. We are performing it next week for the people who want to come and watch so it is practise practise practise which is ok but it is pretty tiring so holidays will be nice.
